Florida to Stockholm

Back over the pond.  The next contributor is John Hallmen from Stockholm, Sweden.  I have a lot to thank John for, his Flickr stream and website contain a wealth of information on a niche type of photography that I became a little obsessed with for a year or so.  I've spent hours reading through his Flickr and found it all incredibly fascinating.  He is a very well known and highly regarded high magnification macro photographer.  He's also a budding entomologist and the vast majority of his work combine these two subjects.

Oregan to Florida

Skyler sent the lens to gather more airmiles.  This time it travels to Florida, to Dan Ewert.
Dan is an online buddy of Spring, she showed me his photos and I actually felt inspired to get out my camera.  A nice reminder of how much pleasure you can get from just viewing photographs.  Amplified tenfold if you were the creator.  Here is a ridiculous example of Dan's work

Skyler Hughes

I feel a bit mean about this one.  Excited to see Skyler's images and get the project moving a little quicker, I sent Skyler a few emails asking for an update, and when he didn't reply I feared the lens may be lost.  Ye of little faith, Skyler had broken his hand and was struggling to even type.  Whoops ... really sorry dude.  One more incredible photographer, one more incredible place.

Michigan to Oregon

My name is Skyler Hughes and I am a true Oregonian,born and raised. Oregon is the perfect place for me to be creative. From filming snowboarding to taking pictures of the beautiful waterfalls, Oregon has it all. I hope at some point to branch out in life and move around, but for now Oregon is my home. I enjoy being creative whether it is sketching with my friend Chris or hitting a jump on my snowboard, I try to make it my own. I am a very active person and love exploring what Oregon has to offer. I use top of the line equipment to bring you videos, photos, art, and graphic design to share with you what I see through my eyes. Spring Disney

I received the lens from Alessio in Italy and planned 2 trips with it, one into the woods where i found a young buck and one at Lake Michigan. We have beautiful lighthouses around our Great Lakes, so i had to go visit one with the lens! I've been helping Craig out with the blog some too and i love the idea of it!  I've had a great experience with the lens and cant wait to see how everyone else does!
